Day 1: Casablanca

Depending on your time of arrival, if time allows, we take you to the city to explore Casablanca’s main sights including visit of the Hassan II mosque and walk along the Coreniche Boulevard, Atlantic Boardwalk lined by many restaurants. Your driver meets you at the hotel in Casablanca, then transfer to Rabat. We will have time to visit the political capital of Morocco, our visit of Rabat will include Hassan tower, an unfinished minaret of the great Hassan Mosque constructed by the Almohad Yacoub El Mansour, Then Mausoleum Mohammed V and Hassan II. Around Morocco Tour would not be complete without walk in the Kasbah of Ouidais, fortress that was once a city itself and later lair of pirates. Then direct transfer to Chefchaouen City to your riad.

We continue Our Private Tour, After breakfast, make your way to the ruins of the former Roman Volubilis. Once home to nearly 20,000 people during Roman occupation, many of its structures and mosaics are still intact for us to behold. After the historic visit of Volubilis, After Around Morocco Tour take you to Meknes, which was the first capital of the Alouine Dynasty, quintessentially Morocco city. Today we explore Fes, as a cultural capital of Morocco. It’s primarily known for its Fes El Bali walled medina, with medieval architecture, vibrant souks and Old-world atmosphere. Fes is the oldest imperial cities founded by Idriss II. You will enjoy your private guided tour in Fes, which includes visit of the Mosque of the Andalusia’s; we visit tanneries in medina and then the district potters. In afternoon we continue to visit Hispano-Moorish buildings, also the Medersas and Nejjarine. Overnight stay in local hotel / riad with Moroccan dinner ended the day in your Fes riad.

We wake up early and we departure to Midelt through the Middle Atlas mountains stopping in Ifrane, famous ski resort. Then we can enjoy the nice view of the cedar-forested hills of Azrou. The area is abundant for wildlife and we most likely will encounter Barbary Macaque living in these forest. Apart to the monkeys, these areas are great for birdlife too. After we arrive to the city of Midelt which is ‘Morocco apple capital’. Dinner and night in hotel / riad.

Departure after breakfast from Midelt at 8 o’clock, traveling via Atlas Mountains, stopping in panoramic view of Tizi-n-Taghoumt. Then  Around Morocco Tour continue through the Ziz Valley, which is particularly well-known for its palm trees and the length of the oasis. All along the road there are innumerable ‘Ksours’, small villages of individual houses. From here we reach Erfoud, famous for its dates festival and fossils. Once you reach the bivouac in Erg Chebbi, you will be greeted with a glass of tea and have time to wander the dunes before the sunset. Dinner is served and followed by an evening of music and the night in a nomad tent.

After sunrise back at the hotel for breakfast and shower, then off for Tineghir via Rissani, Erfoud, Tinejdad, came to the Todra Gorges. This gorges in the High Atlas present asthonishing spectacle, its gigantic rock walls change colors to magical effect as the day unfolds.The 300 meters tall cliff walls are mere 15 meters apart from each other. We have some time to stretch our legs and then continue to another gorge of Dades. We wil travel along small villages painted in pink-grey colors merging into the local rock, ruins of kasbahs and ksours and parts of fertile shafts of land creating breathtaking contrast to the arid land.  Later we continue the journey to Dades Valley where you will have Dinner in the hotel.

We start the morning by viewing amazingly dramatic Dades Gorge with high cliffs of limestone and weirdly shapped erosions. Then we set onto the road of Thousand Kasbah passing Rose Valley.  Then Skoura Oasis reaching the city of Ouarzazate ( HOLLYWOOD AFRICA ). Not far from Ouarzazate we stop to visit the oldest and finest example of fortified city - Ait Ben haddou. After our visit we continue across the High Atlas Mountains over dramatic drive offering splendid views to Marrakech.
