Toubkal Trek 3 Days: A Gentler Climb to North Africa’s Highest Peak
Why Choose This Toubkal Trek 3 Days
This Toubkal trek 3 days gives you more time to adapt to the altitude than the classic two-day climb. To begin with, you walk from Imlil to the village of Aroumd and sleep in a Berber guesthouse. Then you continue to the mountain refuge, and on day three you climb to the 4,167 m summit at dawn before walking back to Imlil.
Throughout the trek, a licensed mountain guide leads you, while mules carry the bags. In fact, a licensed guide is required for foreign hikers on Toubkal. As a result, you walk light and safely.
However, if you are short on time, see our Toubkal trek 2 days. Also read our guide to climbing Mount Toubkal.

Expert tip from our mountain guides
Walk slowly on day two, because a steady pace helps with the altitude. In addition, drink often and bring a warm sleeping layer for the refuge. Finally, from November to March the summit needs crampons and an ice axe, so tell us and we adapt the trek.
