7 Days in Marrakech: Day by Day
Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech
To begin with, our driver welcomes you at Marrakech airport and takes you to your hotel or riad. Then you rest, or you walk to Jemaa el-Fna square for your first evening in the Red City.
Day 2: The Medina with a Local Guide
Then, after breakfast, your guide takes you into the medina. First of the day is the Koutoubia Mosque, whose minaret rises about 77 metres. Then you visit Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs.
Later, you walk through the souks, full of lamps, spices, leather and carpets. In fact, your guide also explains the history behind each place.
Day 3: Day Trip to the Atlas Mountains
Then, after breakfast, you leave the city for the High Atlas. On the way, you also stop in a Berber village and share mint tea with a family. Then you take an easy walk with views over the valleys.
Later, you have lunch on a terrace facing the mountains. Finally, you return to Marrakech in the late afternoon.
Day 4: Cooking Class and Hammam
In the morning, a local cook shows you how to prepare a tagine or a couscous. Then you eat the meal you cooked.
Later in the afternoon, you relax in a traditional hammam with a steam bath and a massage. As a result, this is the calmest day of the week.
Day 5: Hot Air Balloon Ride and Majorelle Garden
To begin with, a driver picks you up before dawn for the balloon flight. Then you rise over the countryside as the sun lights the Atlas Mountains.
Later, you visit the Majorelle Garden, with its blue villa and rare plants. After that, you can also explore Gueliz, the modern district of Marrakech.
Day 6: The Agafay Desert
Later in the afternoon, you drive about one hour to the Agafay desert, a stony desert of bare hills. If you like, you can also ride a camel or try a quad bike.
Later, you watch the sunset over the hills and share dinner under the stars. Finally, you sleep in a desert camp in Agafay.
Day 7: Free Day in Marrakech
Then, after breakfast, you return to Marrakech for a free day. For example, you can shop in the souks, visit a museum or relax in a café. Finally, the tour ends with a last Moroccan dinner or your airport transfer.
