Day 1: Tangier to Chefchaouen

This Morocco one week itinerary starts in the vibrant seaport of Tangiers from where you will drive to the stunning ‘blue city’ of Chefchaouen. Located in the North of Morocco high up in the mountains, the city of Chefchaouen is mostly known for its beautiful blue patis. You could walk through its skinny roads, shopping through its colorful bazaars, and unwind in the beautiful Uta el-Hammam square. Photography enthusiasts will find a lot of photo spots while exploring this beautiful town and the real Morocco lifestyle.

Day 2: Chefchaouen to Fes via Volubilis and Meknes

For lunch you will continue towards the Roman ruined city of Volubilis classified as World Heritages by UNESCO. Stroll through the quansite with remnants making up floors, walls, and ceilings from over two millennia ago, most especially, the mosaics, and the columns. Then proceed to Meknes the imperial city where they tour round historical areas such as the gate of Mansur and the Mausoleum of the Mushash– El Moulay Ismail. Day 3: Full Day in Fes

Day 4: Fes to Todra Gorge (with stops in Ifrane and Monkey Sightseeing)

You will start your journey after having your breakfast in Fes; you will be driving across the Middle Atlas Mountain. The first organized stop is Ifrane which is sometimes referred to as the Morocco’s Switzerland due to the structures more akin to the European alps and mutually shared cool weather. Here you will experience fresh cool air together with the probability of seeing the peculiar Barbary monkeys that can be found in the cedar forests around Lixus. Then go on driving along the impressive mountain scenery and Berber, and finally get to the Todra Gorge. Here, you will be taken to a local pottery centre in order for you to see how the art of pottery is done by the local people up to this time. After continuing your trip to Erg Chegaga, you cross enormous desert territory and meet the Zagora – the ‘’Door of the desert.’’ After that, you will have the best camel riding experience in the magical sand dunes of Erg Chegaga for your dinner in the middle of the mighty sand dunes in an exclusive luxury camp.

Day 6: Erg Chegaga to Ait Ben Haddou (via Paris-Dakar Rally Route, Taznakht, and Little Atlas)

For this day of your Tour fromTangier, enjoy the breathtaking views of Saharan sunrise before you take your meal in the camp. Today you will be able to see the amazing clip that shows the route of the Paris-Dakar Rally, which will last for three hours.

Furthermore, on your way to Ait Ben Haddou you will drive through Taznakht, famous for its fine Berber rugs and carpets. Here, local workshops offer you an opportunity to watch the dance of hands depicting the conventional ways of fashioning these delicate fabrics. Climb for a few more kilometers through the impressive Little Atlas Mountains, and then reach the breathtaking Ait Ben Haddou – a UNESCO site. Day 7: Ait Ben Haddou to Marrakech (via High Atlas and Tizi n’Tichka Pass)

On the last day, leave Ait Ben Haddou and start a journey driving back to Marrakech. Cross through the High Atlas Range and descend into the sun-baked palette of valleys, peaks and Berber villages at the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest in Morocco.
